Ethics
Robert French and everyone involved with this website are committed to the highest ethical standards and measure all our business dealings against the 4-Way Test of the things that we think, say or do:
- Is it the truth?
- Is it fair to all concerned?
- Will it build good will and better friendships?
- Is it beneficial to all concerned?
Herbert J. Taylor (April 18, 1893 – May 1, 1978) was the creator of the 4-Way Test of the Things We Think, Say or Do in 1932. This 24-word statement of business ethics was devised in twenty minutes as he set out to save the Club Aluminum Products distribution company from bankruptcy. In 1954, it was adopted by Rotary International.
