Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the book Junkie. It was very interesting to read a book based I my own city.

Thank you Jim, I’m glad you enjoyed it. One of the best murder mystery books I ever read was set in Vancouver; it makes it that little bit better.

To find out you have to read the next book in the series, Oboe.

I have just finished Junkie and Oboe. Presently looking at the cover for book 3 Lockstep. So far I have been engrossed, riveted, absorbed by these two books. They are so phenomenally well written, keeping me in suspense. The characters are all so well developed leaving you knowing them intimately. I cannot wait o start book 3 then purchase 4 and 5. One concern then is, I will have to wait for book 6. GT your quill going Robert!!!!! Thank you for such a great series.

Thank you so much Malcolm, you have made my day! The sixth book Captive will be available around the end of the month.

Very best wishes and stay safe.

Hi, I am , there is no book 7 for Cal Rogan and the gang. Will you be doing another book in the series? Are you writing another series? I absolutely love your writing. Cal’s struggle with addiction is spot on and I had I not read the acknowledgments for Junkie, I would have bet money that you were in recovery. The struggle you portrayed him to have was spot on. I truly enjoy switching back and forth through the characters point of view, I loved all 6 books and read each one in one setting. Once I got started I didn’t want to stop and so I would not allow myself to move on to the next book unless i had no other obligations because I totally would play hooky once i got started . You truly have a gift. One last thing, thank you for keeping covid out of the book. Its on all the sitcoms and some of the newly released books as you know. When I read I like to escape (who doesn’t) and your Rogan series was a perfect escape! Best wishes to you! I hope you are working on your next book.

Note – I was thinking it would be a great read to jump forward in the future when Ellie has become a cop and how she puts in practice all of the things she learned from her dad and the gang. I suppose that only works if Cal doesn’t run off to the college and leave his passion behind.

Thanks so much Jessica for your kind comments. I really do appreciate it. Yes indeed, book 7, Jailed, is being written now and will be out soon. As you have read all the other books, I would like to invite you to join my Launch Team for the new book. You will get a free advanced copy in return for reading it, feeding back your comments and criticisms to me, and doing a review on Amazon when the book is published. I will email you details of how to join the team.
Also, you must be psychic. A series on Ellie as an adult is also in the works.
    Thanks so much.
